Galway Nightlife

    I'm visiting Galway on Saturday for a week with a group of 10. Was hoping for some advice on where to go on our nights out in the city :). Were all 18-20 so we accept we might struggle to get into certain places. Were looking for pubs with reasonably priced drinks and possibly good live music followed by nightclubs. Ideally the nightclubs would have a friendly crowd, cheap drink and and plenty of ladies. However, we'd happily settle for one of the three ;)

    Or failing that, have a walk around the city centre. It's small. There's lots of pubs there. One might surely take your fancy.

    Yeah, I've been advised by the lads in college from Galway to just go where the beer takes us.

    All the nightlife is basically contained within shop street so there really isn't anything to plan. Go down and start at the Spanish arch and work your way back up towards Supermacs in Eyre square for the after club snackbox.

    There is only one club on Shop St. And probably not what you're looking for if you're looking for plenty of ladies. . . But loads of promo people who can help you. 4 clubs on eyre sq. 2 on abbygate st. (just off shop st.) 1 on eglington st(between shop st. and the square), that's about it
