I was wondering if someone can help me,

November this year I will be 23 and can qualify as a mature student. I am hoping to study Computer Engineering in Athlone next year. My leaving cert results are absolutely rubbish so I'm hoping to get as much experience as I can to help me get into the course next year.

The question is, where can I go to find the experience I need?

    Any help would be appreciated

    FAS

seriously, do a fas course - you will get lots of hands on experience, inside and outside a computer. The IT Support Specialist course in FAS in Athlone is absolutely fantastic and a brilliant starter course to anything you can do IT related in college

I'm not in Athlone until next Summer. I've taken up an online course in Dreamweaver for a few weeks, not sure if will be any help to me but...

I can download the past exam papers for you if you like, it'll give you an idea of how to direct your studies over the summer.
