Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Guys

Wondering if anyone could help me out here. My wife has a Iphone4 (brand new via insurance as she smashed her old phone) As a surprise I upgraded her phone to a white Iphone 5 for a 99euro cost. Phone arrived today. Unopened untouched and I assume locked to VF and......she wants to keep her Iphone 4:eek:My qustion is can I sell this phone legally or does she have to use the upgraded phone.

Sorry if its a stupid question

You can sell it no problem.

However, you wife will be in contract for at last a year (maybe 18/24 months depending).

If it's within the cooling off period (7 days I think) you can return it....

    There definitely is.

Good luck with the sale. :)

Just to add. You could ask the network to unlock it for you seeing as how it's a bill phone. You could ask for a bit more when selling too.

Just give them the IMEI (which they'll have already). Normally takes about 3 working days.

Something else to consider is if she has insurance with Vodafone they'll probably have her details updated to the new phones details ie. the iPhone 5. And if in the future she needs to claim again they may not recognise the iPhone 4 she currently has.

Unlocking can be done easily enough too and will make the phone worthy a few quid more.
