Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Its a bit hard to tell from the pics whether they are 'bugs' or slugs. I would guess slugs, the gunge in the first pic looks like slug. Do they have legs or are they just the lumps as they seem to be in the pics?

    The solutions are: pick them off (difficult to get them all), put down slug pellets (read the instructions, you don't need heaps of them), make slug traps with beer (google it), a pinch of salt will kill them but its a bit 'one off' and very gruesome.

    i have the slugs under control,these things have legs and a black head,i have never seen anything like them before and they are only on that type of plant

    What are those plants? Are they lilies ?

    I did a Google Image search on "lily beetles". Is that them ?

    If it is it seems like common problem with quite a few suggestions online about it.

    Yes,they are lilies,i have them for 5 years and no problems until this year
