Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPhone 5 microphone not working in calls?

    Had the exact same problem with my iPhone 4 a few years ago; the microphone on my iPhone 5 only works if I go into speaker mode... Is there a fix for this? I just tried with Siri and the microphone was able to pick up my words without a problem, but then with the voice recorder it is unable to catch the words again?

    :confused::confused::confused:

    Should I just give Apple a call? If they do have to fix it, do you know how the replacement program is? I have a One X I can use, but I don't have a micro to nano SIM adapter. :(

    I am also jailbroken on 6.1, so if they do need to fix it, will it come back on the same version of iOS or will it be upgraded to 6.1.3 or whatever it is?

    Depending on the condition they'll either repair/replace with refurb or replace with new.

    You will need to de-jailbreak it (maybe that's whats causing the trouble?) or Apple might not be as happy to help you out.

    If you get a replacement then it will be on 6.1.3 or 6.1.4, also more than likely they'll update yours too.

    Wasn't there an update recently to fix something speakerphone related? Might be worth updating to newest software first, and losing your jailbreak.

    The fix was only to change sound quality, rather than fixing anything.

    Ah, ok.
