Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I am doing some work on an old honda civic. I am going to change the timing belt in the next few days, and have a kit with a new tensioner.

The service manual states in several places to NOT remove the tensioner, just loosen it to slacken the belt.

Seeing as I want to replace the tensioner too, is it a hard job to get it back on? It is the spring type, with an arm that is connected to a vertical spring.

I was assuming that it is just a matter ot taking the old one off, and attaching the new one to the spring but something tells me there might be more to it!

    Thanks,

    Ken
