One bigger size radiator or 2 smaller ones - does it make a difference?

We have a fairly large living room that requires 15,500 BTUs. We're wondering if a large 2 metre double rad with btu output of 15,700 would be okay rather than going with 2 smaller rads in opposite ends of the room. The room is square in shape.
