    Some months ago, when it was announced that existing Eircom customers could qualify for a free upgrade to 70mb Internet, I emailed Eircom expressing my interest in being upgraded.
    When I sent the email, I was told I would be contacted.

    When will I be contacted?

    Hi fussyonion,

    You would be contacted on the back of the expression of interest when the fibre is connected to the cabinet in your area/estate.

    If you would like to send me your details, I can check if its connected for you?
