Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

....just mental shopping - the S.O. still wants a soft top, and our old MX-5 is nigh-on useless as it only has 2 seats. She wants rid, but I want it to stay.

So, anyone got any of the modern breed of small soft top - there's an offer on DS3 Cabrio' atmo, and I see a 500C or two as well - but are they any good ?

Car will be a daily driver, and doing about 50km day - so I'm thinking the 1.2 DS not the 1.6 and no diesels.

    Motorbikes >> Motors

The GF always had a soft spot for Figaro. The rear seats aren't great but maybe it's an option?

I've got a 2009 Mini Cooper S convertible not a daily driver but I'd say 50% of the drives (shorter ones). Only regret I have is it's auto. Today I've been treating it like the go kart it is on city streets. Top down, wha little hair I have remanng running in the wind nipping in and out of little gaps in the traffic. Definitely a 4 seated unless you're 6'5" like me in which case it's a 3 seater.

Drove a Fiat 500 1.2 around Italy for a week recently and found it very disappointing. Was supposed to get the cabrio but got a lounge with the glass roof in the end. I'm sure it would be fine for tipping around the place though and was incredibly economical considering the thrashing it got at times. Not a great car to drive, the fun is I'm the thrashing I suppose but the 1.4 or a multi air would be a better bet for that.

Not sure what your budget is but what about a Golf cabrio:
