uk contract for 3-4 months

i work in the oil and gas sector...a uk company has contacted me for a contract starting in july.. duration is 3-4 months ive an option of paye or self employed self employed rates are beeter what should i opt for and if self employed how do i go about doing it cheers b

it would most likely be as a limited company contractor, that's how must companies work.

You basically have two choices, set up your own company or contact an umbrella company. For three months I would go for the latter,
