Actually, I am sort of tempted with Dont Starve, but 9eu still does not loook like a "sale price" for me.

Second rule: Always check how much of a price drop it is. Sometimes the flash deal will make game cheaper only by 1-3eu. So ask yourself, is it worth waiting?

Third rule : F**k it! Buy it now and be happy. :D

Oh really? I was kinda hoping for more MMO-y stuff because I've never gone down that route before. Would it maybe serve as a good introduction too that kinda thing for a noob?

It's like playing Borderlands with the option to team up with people every now and then. Very different from a typical MMORPG.

Ah here, no. It's a completely different RPG style.

It's much less immediate than Skyrim for example, and far more linear.

I'm totally new to this and haven't much of a clue so can someone explain why the prices in this link are cheaper than the steam store?

I'm looking at fallout 3 and its $6 in this link but 12 euro on steam? Cheers

Yeah Dragon Age isn't a patch on Skyrim IMO. You pause the action and give orders during the battle, have a bigger party.

Its more of a Mass Effect style. Not a bad game though.

Steam does not price things equally, either in terms of currency conversion, or within the same currency in different countries. Hence there's two euro zone tiers.

Anyone know how this treasure hunt works?

I didn't like Skyrim that much and loved Mass Effect so it sounds good to me!

In fairness to Steam I think it's a great start to the Summer Sale.

All the main page games have a 75+ rating on MetaCritic.

    Title MetaCritic Score
    Bioshock Infinite 94
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 94
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition 91
    Counter Strike: Global Offensive 83
    GRID 2 80
    Hotline Miami 85
    Left4Dead 2 89
    Don't Starve 79
    Endless Space 77
    Scribblenauts Unlimited 75
    Call of Juarez Gunslinger 79
    Antichamber 82

4 story packs and it means you have the necessary parts for any mods you may want.

YOu may want to wait though. I got the GOTY for a fiver in a Steam Sale.

So, if Skyrim is on Daily Deal, does that mean it's DLC isn't going to be discounted further than it already is? I was hoping to pick up Dragonborn for a bit less than €9.99. That's almost a third of a game, ffs.

I've just switched to a mac. Is it just a case of trawling the games to see whats on sale?

The main game is great, not all the DLC is that good but the expansion Awakening is very good. It is definitely worth playing/buying at that price in my opinion. Are you much in to RPGs? If yes, get it, for sure. Pity DA 2 isn't nearly as good.

Your going to have a bad time unless dual booting with windows. Not many games come out on mac

Lol! Bioshock Infinite just skyrocketed back up to €49.99!

But there is a mac section in the store? Are you saying I won't be able to get those working? I really want Civ 5!
