Surfing and Weight lifting

    Hi Boarders,

    I surf and have also started lifting weights. I had been using circuit training but would like a little more mass so on a 16 week programme. Question is; can I surf and lift weights on the same day or is that over doing it?

    Depends how intense your weights or surf are going to be, probably dont want to be feeling stiff and achy if you want to catch nice fast waves, if you do a hard leg session you wont be popping up too quick the next day or two afterwards or be in the mood for staying low on your bottom turns etc but should be fine on the day you do the weights.
