We are looking for a new Labrador pub. What is the best website to search for pups these days? We are keeping an eye out on the shelters too. What's the best way to ensure that the pups are not coming from a puppy farm or inbred?

Contact the breed club and ask for a list of breeders with/expecting pups - that's what I did for our new retriever pup and I had a few to choose from. Our pup was 4 weeks old yesterday so 4 weeks to go before she comes home

Do not under any circumstances buy a pup from this crowd - http://www.irishlabradors.net/ a few people on her got pups and they had severe hip dyplacia - one so bad it had to be pts
