    " A very sad day for the sport of IRONMAN after an Athlete dies in today's Ironman France-Nice".'

    No details at the moment.

    A 30 year old Briton crashed on the bike route according to a Google search. Can't link as I'm mobile.

    A 30 year old British man lost it in a bend on a descent and hit a wall. He was choppered out but succumbed to his injuries according to l'equipe
