Anyone in Dublin city centre able to lend me a thermometer for a few hours or anyone know where I could get one quickly at this time of the night?

I'm in the middle of a brew just about to add the hops to the boil and my thermometer fell and broke.

Are you looking to measure the temperature for pitching yeast?

Yeah. I ended up finding an old cheap thermometer that I was able to use to make a decent estimate of the temp for the yeast and to check if the wort had cooled enough.

Hopefully everything turned out ok. Just after cleaning up and now want a beer :)
