Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

what's the reasoning for the groups, is it to keep costs down for the smaller clubs?

Yes and I am surprised they have not done it with the Europa League, maybe they have and have just yet to publish it

They've been struggling so badly this season, 2nd bottom after being bottom for ages. A few big scoring wins of late though. Sligo will be underdogs but still have a shout.

Molde will make short work of them imo

We'll just have to get a good lead at the showgrounds then.

Better teams don't always win the ties as Celtic showed in last seasons Champions League

Good to know we have a Norwegian football expert here.

How many games did you get to last season?

Very easy to upset the LOI heads on here.

True, I would like Sligo to cause the upset but Molde are the better team, very hard for some to stomach that it seems.

The one that says Molde will make "short work" of Rovers?

Like a child, commenting about something he clearly knows nothing about in my book.

Number of stars each team has in FIFA 13?

I've seen enough of Molde to know they are better than Sligo Rovers, that seems very hard for you to take!

Jesus lads, relax. They are a better team, playing in a better league with a much, much better European record that ourselves. Chances are they will make easy work of us, unless they carry their poor form into Europe, then we will have a shot at winning.

I say this having seen them play this season, the last game being against Honefoss last month when they won 4-0 (lost a bet on that too  ), before anyone jumps on me for not knowing anything about them.

    Ha I'm sure you have.:rolleyes

I'm not that naive that I think Rovers will be anything but the underdogs in the game, having not seen Molde play and having seen us play. Going by their recent record in Europe, I'd be foolish to think otherwise.

On the otherhand, I have no idea where you're qualifying you're opinion on Molde making "handy work" of us from. Unless you are truly the lover of Norwegian football as you profess to be.

How long do the clubs have to decide on what date they will play their qualifier. Still no confirmation (that I can find) from Molde FK on what day (23/24) they will host our 2nd leg on.

They played well yesterday, albeit against a newly promoted side. Gatt going off injured was a blessing in disguise as Chukwu is better and played well. He will probably start against us as Gatt will be going to the Gold Cup with the US.

They were pi*s poor defending corners though.

Funnily enough that question was asked by another Sligo supporter. Just scroll down although it doesnt give an actual date but when you can expect the date to be forwarded to Sligo
