Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking the same.....the press will have a field day with it: this in local papers last week...... http://www.advertiser.ie/athlone/article/61861/born-again-bikers-are-a-danger-to-themselves-on-the-roads

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Whoever wrote that should be dragged behind your Harley in a wheelie bin. Clueless and dredging out the same old stereotyped nonsense.

RIP to the biker in the OP.

The AA know nothing about bikes  but everyone is conditioned to believe they are some sort of motoring gods, the media certainly seem to think so.

A guy who had a Honda 50 or even a 125 30 years ago is very unlikely to have done his test, there was no incentive to do so in those days. So when he becomes 'born again' he now has to do IBT etc. You'd think they'd at least have mentioned that.

Also telling cagers to be 'bike aware' without telling them HOW is just a waste of time. Even a couple of sentences saying to always double check when pulling out of an entrance or junction etc, or changing lane.

    Scrap the cap!
