Stick your account number in here http://www.upc.ie/customer_support/service_status/ and it will tell you if there is issues in the area

The UPC reps acknowledged last week in the UPC forum that the status checker does not work 24 hours of the day - they did not say what times it is current for but certainly for night faults it is not updated until 8.30 a.m.
