Semi-Integrated Dishwasher

I have a dishwasher that is integrated in so much as it is sitting in a cabinet and has a panel painted the same colour as the kitchen stuck on it but the top panel is still displayed (where the buttons are) I think it is called a semi integrated.

Is it pretty much a set size for semi integrated machines? Also, would the front panel come off most of them e.g. is that what qualifies it as semi integrated?

semi or fully integrated fit the same aperture size only difference is the door panel size and these can be removed from old to new machine . if you think the panel is stuck on you may have an older std. dishwasher where a plastic surround kit was supplied to fit a wafer thin panel to make machine blend in with kitchen units, if it has a heavier door panel attached it is an integrated machine
