Hi,

A query on An Post Saving bonds if anyone knows:

I have a e5000 saving bond that id like to cash in early when im home from UK for just 2 days next week.

Once iv applied to head office by sending on the bond, it says if i recieve a warrant (basically cheque for PO only) for this amount it is subject to 'current encashment limits'.

Does this mean I may not be able to take out this whole sum from my local An Post branch without giving them advance notice or would 5k fall within the limits of withdrawal without extra notice?
