Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What sort of sad old bastards have nothing better to do than ring up and complain about a dress on tv??

    I'd wreck her.

Some people have too easy of a life if they need to take the time out to complain over this crap.

Horrific stuff. Personally I was so upset by those images I went through an entire box of tissues.

I'm far from the biggest connoiseur of ladies' fashion in the world, and a bit of cleavage doesn't bother me, but I think that dress looks terrible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,462 ✭✭✭✭kneemos

Probably rather ironically old biddy's that complained about "them"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,028 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

those breasts are very large for a family show

I think the only remedy here is to prevent her from wearing any clothes in future.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

You can tell those complaints were made by old biddys flicking through all of the channels until they stumbled upon something that outraged them.

And yet when the male dancers go topless there isn't a whisper.

    I'd wreck myself wrecking her.

They should apologise for the show in general.

They should apologise for making yet another Pop Idol or X factor clone.

I believe there is a protest march organised against Holly and the BBC at the GPO on Saturday at 1pm. Bring placards.

But if you walk along the beach on a summer's day (assuming we get a few summer days) you'll see far more revealing outfits. Why would anybody in their right mind be upset over this?

Sure Baywatch used to be on at 5pm of a Saturday and there we were 'roughing up the suspect' like we had an endless supply of socks :pac:

What a disgrace. I will put myself forward and offer to help dress her myself.

All I ask in return is complete privacy while myself and Holly come together to discuss these issues :)

You didn't complain last night Chessy m'dear. ;) xox
    I would tbh.

Nah, not even on mute. That weird wonky eye of hers freaks me out too. Don't get me wrong, she would still get it..............but even she could not get me to watch that show.

People have little else to be complaining about, I hate Philip Schofield but I totally agreed with his comment in support of her. She has a great body and as a woman I envy it, if you've got it flaunt it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,288 ✭✭✭TheUsual

They should be apologising for all the other tits on BBC.

    *ohhh controversial*

    Shocking stuff.

I was so angered by her dress the blood rushed straight to me head.

Can we accept this apology and move on with our lives?

They were quicker to apologise for this than they were for covering up Mr Saville's actions! Is it just me that finds that odd?

Hmmm, I wonder was it people saying "Scandalous, a woman isn't covering up."

Or people saying, "It's horrible objectification. She should cover up."

    :pac:

EDIT: I've kind of remember my love for Holly Willboughly. She has such a lovely smile:o

I hate that style of dress personally, but cannot believe people complained about it.

The BBC didn't really apologise for her wearing it though, just that people were offended by it.

People who get offended by things like a bit of (glorious) cleavage should lighten the fcuk up, boobs are wonderful things.

When you say 'auld lad' are you referring to your penis?

Never got her supposed allure myself. The apology is of course ridiculous, the BBC really needs to stop grovelling in front of the Daily Mail and their agents.
