A friend of mines mother has now gone nearly completly deaf and its very frustrating for them both to have a conversation or with anyone in the family, she is 90 years of age. Is there anything out there where you can talk into a headset or something and it would print out on screen for her, i know you could do it on an ipad but is there anything especially built for this.
    Thanks

Yes. You'd be looking for a voice to text program. Googling voice to text iphone will get you the results that you need, although someone here may be able to recommend an app.

Also, contact the deafhear shop 01 8175700

They have places around the country, and may have a portable device that she could carry with her?
