Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I know that most networks will be turning to 4G soon but I'm wondering is the existing 3g connection on an iPhone 4s good enough to support watching streams?

I am a complete noob when it comes to iPhones and the current "phone internet" in this country so please use layman terms.

The apps I am primarily talking about are:

    Twitch.tv App
    Spotify App
    Netflix App
    Youtube App

You can see the kind of stuff I'm talking about.

    Thanks.

Just for info, the iPhone 5 is capable of much higher speeds even on the 3G network. The iPhone 4S max speed on 3G (HSPA) is 14.4Mbps where the iPhone 5 (HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA) can -theoretically- reach about 40Mbps.
I've tried a speed test side-by-side on vodafone (Dublin area) showing 5Mbps on the 4s and 20Mbps on the 5.
