Really quick question guys - what would a normal day's usage be on a metre reading, i.e. how many units? We recently moved into a new apartment and took an electicity metre reading (Airtricity) the morning after we moved in. It was at 9147. The landlord took a reading the day before and has advised it was 9136. Is an 11 unit movement overnight normal (no heating, television etc. was used - just general lighting, dishwasher once etc.). Not claiming anything wrong with their reading, just not at all familiar with what's normal for a metre reading a day later. Cheers.

its not an unusual amount of units to move no. Besides which it could be only 10.1 units

maybe the meter was 9136.9 and then moved to 9147.0 if you want to check your electricity usage you can get little contraptions that will allow you view your electricity usage at any given time.
