Just a quick message to tell you about the band I drum in, Shadowplay.
We're a three-piece melodic rock band formed in 2010. After two years writing and perfoming original music, Shadowplay won the prestigious Hot Press Lift Off competition in February 2012, which led to an international record deal with Shamrock/Universal. Having spent much of the past year writing and recording with notable producers David Odlum (The Frames, Kila, Paloma Faith, Gemma Hayes), and Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones, INXS, The Psychedelic Furs, Yes ), the band are currently finalising tracks for their debut album. Shadowplay will resume touring in August 2013 to coincide with the release of debut material with an album slated for late 2013/early 2014.
