I hear a lot of people saying the culinary Arts course in LYIT is actually in killybegs. Can anyone here confirm it?

    Also Transport.
I'm wondering how does transport work. I'l be needing to get to LYIT or killybegs which ever.. from Sligo town. So just wondering about that.

    Also,
In the culinary arts course I'm going to do, I'll need to do work experience. Are there many hotels, restaurants that takes on LYIT students?

    Thanks..

The School of Tourism is LYIT, its just not on the same campus as the rest of the college.

LYIT is a multi campus IT at the minute, but they are working on getting all of it on the one campus in the future.

In the link you gave there is a facebook page and 2 phone numbers, I would use them to get clarification if you don't get a response on here.
In fairness, they should have mentioned it to you by now.

Are you planning on traveling every day? Might be an option to look at accommodation? Once you know where obviously.

    I hope that helps.

Hi Kiddums, As far as I can tell the killybegs campus won't be moved until after the 13/14 term. So I'm safe.

I won't be traveling up, I'm hoping that I'll get accommodation and come home on weekends. ButI'm just wondering, surely the accomidation is part of the Killybegs campus? Very confusing this is...

    Cheers. :)
