I have 4 x 2tb hard drives on an Ecs P965T-A motherboard with a 500w power supply.

Most of the time only the first drive posts, the other three only post very infrequently, and not always all of them.

After many attempts at rebooting it finally saw them all and booted but today, having not looked at the machine for a couple of days, there was a continuous slow bleep coming from the motherboard.

I power cycled and it's the same problem, only seeing one or two drives (though always the first).

I've swapped the memory.

Anyone and ideas what the problem might be?

Edit: After the reboot the beeping stopped.
