It'll all be over by next Monday.

Just had a peek into the "unknowable" and it suddenly looks like a Greenland low pressure that was heading our way will be steered away by sustained HP which could build back strongly.

Cork is an especially nice place when the weather is good. :)
Meanwhile, here in Meath the sun is finally getting through properly. Apart from 15 minutes of sun early this morning the day has been entirely overcast up to now.

I briefly considered taking my sweater off here in West Co. Galway but then I went outside and got some sense. Chilly, overcast and misty outside. Car says it's 19c. I guess the shorts I bought in 1974 don't need to be dusted off just yet....

What a turnaround. The grey skies started to disappear mid morning and by 1.00pm the sun was peeking through. The temperature has continued to rise and the sun is continuing to shine. 23.7 degrees presently.

I know how you feel. I am dreading work tomorrow. I placed a digital thermometer in the office and with the air con on it reached 40C.

It will be hell with a full length shirt on. Can't wait for November when it gets comfortable to work again.

Sea Fog rolling in from the North here in Castlebar, making it go dark quite fast. Very rare to see that so far inland, well here anyway!
