Jesus, I have one spoon and I can barely move off the couch...

You must have the constitution of an Ox....

Lol it is desperation to be honest. I can't function with the hayfever otherwise

Cetrine is brilliant, a months supply is the same price as a weeks supply of Zirtek, chemists are recommending it over Zirtek, I have been taking one a day since June and no episode(s) yet thankfully.

Tried that and it has no effect at all.

Quite a bit of high level / hazy cloud over Cork
With little breeze predicted over next couple of days, my experience tells me this could become a bit of an issue and glorious sunshine may not be such a cert!

Not as warm, probably highs of around low 20's, maybe a little cooler.

Looking like we won't break 28 on the official records today, certainly warmer down here in Waterford than yesterday though.

If its not the winter wrecking Irish roads, its the summer! Lots of nasty tar drops will weld themselves to the front and lower sections of your cars.

-18 it was epic, except for the frozen pipes.

The island seems to be stuck at 28c inland while temperatures here are approaching record levels for this spot.

24.5c here now with the sea breeze easing.

One of the warmest temps here in long time.

I'm still convinced that Ireland uses "New Easy Melt - Extra Bumpy" tarmac !

It shouldn't be melting at these temperatures

27C in the Phoenix Park, long time since thats been seen.

It does seem the temps have peaked a little lower than predicted but as someone mentioned earlier the 1630-1830 period yesterday proved hottest so maybe a rogue 29 to be had in the mid-west yet.....!

The unofficial IWN station at Oranmore recorded 32.5, which if it were an official station would be a record high for July in Ireland.

Most likely it's not totally accurate of course.

I think the owner of that station did say yesterday (on here or elsewhere?) that his station was over reading by a couple of degrees.
