Back again....

Weather underground http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/ is showing a shower over Darndale/Clarehall on the Northside.

No clouds visible from here in that direction...is it true??

Update: the "shower" has now vanished from the map but the stations under where is appeared have all seen plummeting temperatures relative to those around them!

I can confirm that there was no showers,clouds or the temp certainly didn't seem to plummet

Right now Id swap with you, nearly bedtime and the bedroom temp is actually climbing past 27 and the half decent breeze is gone so no movement of air through the house. 20 C outside

I'm on my holidays at the moment so that'd do me nicely!

Its been a good week here overall, Tuesday evening and all day Wednesday we had sea fog but clear and sunny every other day until this evening. Just annoying that most of the country is having a memorable spell while we're stuck with temps in the teens most days. My nearest station on IWN has only topped 20C three times all month and has been the single coldest site in the country for the past few days

Lowest overnight 13.7 at 6am.

Partly cloudy but lots of sun. Westerly breeze but the temperature is currently a very modest 17.7C.

Certain moisture-loving trees, such as birch, are shedding their leaves like it was October.

Everywhere is now various shades of straw-coloured; green grass can no longer be seen "in the wild" leaving those wasting water on their lawns sticking out like a green thumb.

A couple of cooler days today and tomorrow with the best sunny breaks in the south, then from Wednesday back to the mid 20's and from Thursday on back up to the high 20's again for several days.
