Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi
i was summoned for jury duty, starting this morning. I wasnt picked for the particular case today but have to go back tomorrow, wednesday and thursday so i still could be. Anyway, i just realised, the address they sent the summons out to last month is my old house, my old housemate happened to let me know there was a letter for me, my old address is a different postcode to my current one.
Would this matter with regards to me been on the jury, ive heard something about needing people from different areas, different ages etc.
    So confused!!
Thanks in advance for any advice :) would sleep a whole lot better tonight knowing i dont have to go through that nerve racking experience 3 more times!

Someone more knowledgeable than me should be along soon, but I don't think it'll get you off attending. I'd notify the clerk or whomever is in charge of the jury panel. However, I would strongly recommend you update the electoral register with your current address.

Feel free to inform the court, but unless your new address makes travelling to court very burdensome, or has caused you to become acquainted with the accused, I can't see why your change of address would matter.
