Achieved Broadband speeds.

    How many people achieve the speed they are promised on Internet.

    Myself. Promised. 11.7M, At Router 10.2M Actual 8.65M.

    Yes, distance from Exchange etc. all the various reasons why one will not receive the max. The ISP's have all that info before one signs up. So why not give an honest speed.

    i'm on upc 150 meg and get over 15M download and 7 M upload, so exceeds expected speeds. But i'm probably in the minority

    Presume that should be 150M download ?

    Yes, great speed. Should have mentioned speeds on the standard wiring. EU have said that speeds quoted are on average 80% of stated speed.

    Looking at some forums even EFibre is having problems with speed. UPC seems to be slightly different

    Promised: 12mb
    Getting: 10mb

    Download speeds: 1.2mb down

    Presume the up load speed is 1.2M
