Ghosts Playing Xbox?

OK, this is a little silly and possibly completely not true, but bare with me.

Something I have come across is reports (seemingly hundreds, if not thousands) of ghosts/invisible entities interacting with Xboxs through the Kinect. The camera of the Kinect uses infrared sensors, which seemingly pick these up, causing the console to activate.

Now, like I said, there probably is nothing of merit there, but it's an interesting possibility/story.

I think theres a mixture of genuine misinterpretation of the technology and those who want to see ghosts everywhere. I sincerely doubt Kinects are built with high quality sensors to begin with so they will more than likely easily misinterpret information being sensed.
