hi, can anyone give a guesstimate as to cost of finishing a 6,000 sq ft house- concrete floor in and hollow core first floor, no trades in yet. There is a huge amount of glass, practically all the rear of house is glass. Basically there are three bedrooms down stairs, all ensuite and one with large walk in wardrobe, guest toilet, pantry leading to utility/laundry with hotpress off it, open plan kitchen diner leading to living room - first floor, practically one side of house is master suite with his and hers walk in w/r and full bath ensuite, 5th bedroom with ensuite, bathroom, study and up stairs living room. 17single doors and two double doors and all other woodwork to be completed (preferably oak), all electrics and plumbing to be installed, preferably underfloor heating. Plasterboarding required to upstairs ceilings and all plastering to be completed also.
Would anyone have an idea what ball park figure we would have to consider (excluding kitchen and bathroom suites etc, just ready to come in and paint, tile etc) so we can guage whether we could afford to buy it in the first place.
    Thank you very much.
