Well, yourself and Rachel can't be separated on times (projected or PB). What would be the odds of your name coming up in a "random" selection process between yourself and Rachel to identify Krusty's partner?! ;)

Can Krusty not partner the two of them.... We're pretty forward thinking here on A/R/T :D;)

Just looking for confirmation.... For this little competition/banter, are (our)finish times going to be official finish times(gun) or chip time?? I take it chip time will be ok to avoid us toward the back end going up front row and blocking ye up :D

Actually really looking forward to this now, super excited for me and my team-mate to be crowned Boards flatline 2013 champions :D

Yeah, chip time makes sense for this.

On this subject, can people please PM me their real name as I'll need this to verify results. I know a lot of you, but take it that if you don't know my name, I don't know yours either!

I couldn't help noticing Clara's target for this as it so happens to be my pb to the second. However, I find it a strange target. It's 4.01 min/km pace. Wouldn't you put 4.00??

I'm very envious of the number of races you guys have. Halfs, 10k and 10 milers every week. Great idea for a thread though. It'll make for fun reading the day after!

What's this min/km calculation you speak of?! Me no speaka metric! ;) It was really just a friendly snipe at meno but sure he's out now so I'll even it up :)

I did kinda think maybe you don't do metric but couldn't bother deleting. As you can imagine though, for those of us who run kilometres the old 4 min barrier is a big one. I look forward to seeing 3.59 avg per km some day.

I'd love to see a couple of your key marathon workouts as well, if it's not asking too much! You're aiming higher than me for the full distance but you've got youth on your side. I have to take the advances in small steps.

Hmmmmm. Have I stumbled into something? I just switch my garmin from Miles to KMs and visa versa depending on the event.

Anyhow, back on topic. Warriors Run this weekend. Looking to race it, get a PB (target 1:25:00), not sure how that will go, as have been resting up a couple of strains. Also want a PB in Athlone (target 1:55:00), biggest distance this year was a 10 mile in April with a PB of 1:24:??.

So not the best prep this year, have several events under the belt, but very scattered training. Any pointers?

If I can do one with armbands and stabilizers, I'd give it a go.

Just been out of 'Mile' country for too long now. Left the Ould Sod in 1990! I was wondering recently if switching to miles for the next 26.2 effort - see what I did just there - might confuse the brain enough so that it wouldn't have sent the "Cramp NOW!" message to the legs before I cross the line.

Also 7 minute miles makes for easy calculating.

I'm going to do an Ironman just as soon as I find one with a 25m 27 yards 1.021 feet swim!

Eventually getting around to putting my name on this even though I entered ages ago and having been following this thread for months. Aiming for 3:30 in DCM so figure I should be good for 1:40.

Last call for entrants/amendments to this (particularly any drop outs).

Will be doing the pairings over the next few days.

Looked at the rules but it doesn't say how the winners are established

Is it the combined finishing times? or something else?

There's a nice even number at the moment anyway.
