Mods move this to the right forum if necessary.
I bought a mini stereo for the back room but even with the loop ariel connected the stations aren't 100% clear and I don't want to run a coaxial cable the full length or the room as it will look crap, my question is can I get a thinner cable such as speaker cable and solder coaxial connections without losing any frequency/loss as I could just about get the cable under the skirting board.

Loop antenna is just for am. Have you an fm antenna? Just try connect a length of thin single core wire onto the co axial aerial connection.

I tried that and the stations still are not very clear.
