Another JobBridge Scam

Hi,

I'm currently on JSA and I've graduated with a degree in IT. I'm constantly searching for Tech Support and similar jobs and I've come across a company that first advertised a normal paying position on jobs.ie but have now put up the job as a JobBridge internship, which is the exact same job.

Are they allowed do this? I for one am very annoyed over this sort of stuff as I'm willing to work for free to get some experience after finishing my degree and try to get off JSA but when stuff like this is going on it puts me off completely, and not to mention its clearly taking away a paying job they were willing (and able) to pay.

Is there a place to report this?

AFAIK, potential Jobbridge sponsors are NOT allowed to do that, and you should (must!) report it.

Yeah I'm definitely going to report it, they shouldn't be allowed to get away with that. Hopefully it might block them from the JobBridge scheme and give someone a chance at a real job

I didn't apply for the job in the first place either, the job specs sounds a bit crazy and all over the place for a graduate position, especially for only 20K a year, let alone for a free internship!
