I've always considered Liosban an eyesore architecturally but it has been quite lively as of late as far as food establishments go - to the delight of those who work in the Mervue Technology Park:

    - Mr. Waffle has just moved in!
    - Mixed Greens is always packed at lunch hour.
    - Jack Pepperoni makes a lovely pizza (generous lunch special with fries no one I know can finish)
    - All three Polish food shops are thriving, great places to buy a fresh bun and cold cuts to make your own sandwich or buy real donuts.
    - Cupcake place seems popular despite its strange location. Also do birthday parties for kids.

There is also a new sandwhich shop near the G hotel that people are raving about.

I always liked that it housed Galway Art Space, now Kennys bookshop. I think it's an interesting spot and rather browsable for an ugly industrial estate:)

Liosban also has a shop called Astor which sticks vintage clothes and upcycled furniture as well as movie props and costumes! Ive not been but been told about it. Surprised it does well where it is, BUT I guess being close to Chluain Mhuire might be a bonus (film and tv)
