    Well folks, I am looking to buy a site to build a house on the waterford road area of Kilkenny preferably in the grovine/wallslough/Danesfort area.
    Just wondering does anyone here know of landowners willing to sell in the area. not many sites advertised at the moment. Please PM if you have any contacts.
    I am originally from just outside this area but have been away for a number of years and looking to move back to KK.
    Also, any opinions and advice on this area is most appreciated!

    Iv a lovely patch of grass in my back yard i just re soiled the whole yard its good stuff i even cut it this morning ill sell it to you for a reasonable price the only draw back is you will have to jump the back wall to get at it as the missus wont like a strange person coming through the house.

    Your first top would be Kilkenny County Council planning department to see if you get a site are you eligible to build. There are so many restrictions which can trip you up. It doesn't sound like you are eligible to build if the regulations haven't changed since the mid 2000s.
