Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know the odds are if a bike is in a breakers then the engine is bolloxed but you could ring around and see anyway.

There is a list of breakers here:

It's not that hard to DIY. Hardest part is lifting the fvcker!

    ^^ what he said.

few hundred quid for the engine and some long evenings and you'd have her sorted.

    tried city spare and cotters.
cotters have to come back to me. turns out these engines are like gold dust and soft as my fat ass so they are in very short supply

Not necessarily , An rf900r engine bought recently is a beaut, there is also a very sweet Africa engine on the bench also from a breaker,

Merlin at First Choice Breakers near Aughrim has a good selection of engines though the r6is going to be tricky to find.

half thinking of putting the bike in the shed and buying something else and just using the r6 as a project bike

The big ends went on my 2000 R1 as I was giving it the beans away from the East Link toll bridge.

NDM sorted me out,and were very fast to get the bike back on the road for me.

This happened many many years ago, when NDM where located up in Santry, just opposite Santry Park.
