Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cracks? Poor performance? Sligo dominated? Come on lads. Sligo had a lot of ball in the first half but our players were happy to watch them do nothing with it.

2nd half we took the game to them and got what we deserved. Best performance since we got promoted imo. Play like that next week and we will have too much for Shells. Then we will have back to back wins for the first time in a long time.

Come on. Are you honestly trying to tell us the hoof football we are playing is ok?

Seriously only for some mistakes from Sligo and sublime stuff from Horgan in last 2 games things would be lot different.

We didn't play great in the first half but Sligo did absolutely nothing. At least we put some pressure on them for the goals, as big mistakes as they were. Sligo weren't even putting enough pressure on our defenders to even make mistakes they were that placid.

Turner needs to be dropped too. He's got the turning point of a tractor and his brain doesn't work anywhere near fast enough. Of course a lot of people liek him just because he has pace, pity he doesn't use it right 90% of the time.

I am very happy in the manner of the win last night. Sligo were pressured into mistakes. We took our chances after soaking up the pressure.

Lets look at the positives of which there were many last night.

Thought we did enough to get at least a point last night. Limerick Keeper made 2 good saves at the end to deny us. Means nothing without points though.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Bohs seem to be in free fall.

When is Horgan out of contract?

    End of the season.

He's on a scholorship in UCC as well AFAIK.

Would his education run past then? Seems like one destined for greater things

    Presume so.

Think he hasn't developed in other parts of his game. Not helped by our style of play.

He has the talent but his game hasn't developed in some ways since he first joined us. He wasn't having a good season up to last night to be honest. Can be a bit naive in his decision making sometimes, hesitant. When he's confident in what he wants to do though he's outstanding.

He isn't really. LOI premier is his level IMO. Handy player no doubt but he has hardly lit up the league since we got promoted.

Another point closer for the Reds.

Huge next 4 games now for them!!

Was at the Drogs V Shels game today. Pretty even match. Lots of huffing and puffing from both sides without really creating a whole lot. Although in saying that Shels scored what looked like a good goal second half only for it to be ruled out for some reason. Drogs rested a few players for their Malmo game so were a bit understrength.

Shels new number 9 (Murtagh I think) put in a hell of a shift up front for them. Looks a bit lightweight but he's got a decent touch, is good in the air and never stops trying. Came off injured near the end with what looked like a hamstring.

I think if your keeper can sort out his kicking under pressure he'll be a good signing too. Made a couple of good saves today.

    Edit: 4-3 for Limerick now.

    Double Edit: 4-4 Now.
