Broadband in County Galway

    Hey all,

    Can anyone recommend a good broadband service provider in County Galway (Loughrea/Bullaun) - At the minute I have 3 but it is not stable at all and download/upload is only about 1 GB.....

    With lightnet who are based in loughrea afaik

    so far ive had no problems whatsoever but I am only with
    them since just before xmas

    Ping results are between 9 nd 20..... excellent connection

    I know a few people with lightnet for years now and they are happy with them, would be my first choice if I didnt have dsl.

    wow, thats excellent! Unfortunately after a site survey on the property that was interested in it the signal strength wasnt good enough for either lightnet or airwire. Damn trees.

    have lightnet a year now and tonite was the first time I was
    without service (4hrs)
    rang them an hour ago to let them know about my problem expecting
    a call back in the morning
    Somebody rang me a few minutes ago saying service was back
    and just that there was in issue with the network

    My previous isp could learn a thing to two from these guys
    very impressed with that
