    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone would have any recommendations of decent pubs in Dungarvan? Heading down for the weekend; we were there last year and ended up in a nightclub but can't remember the name of it lol. Is there just the one night club?! Cheers :)

Two nightclubs, Davitts in town and creations in Abbeyside. Plenty good pubs the Local and Lady Belle in the Square, The Anchor and the moorings on the quay would probably be most popular.

Try John Keanes on Mary St. I think that's good enough. Has promo's on at wkd which are very good value. Kennedys is another also which has bands etc.

100% AGREE about The Lady Belle & The Local in the Square. 2 fantastic pubs & good spots for music (Trad in the Local) (Rock in the Lady Belle)

Tommy Powers in the Sq is another nice "ould fellas" pub.

Merrys is a lovely gastro pub & has the local Dungarvan Brewing Co beers on Tap.

The Moorings has a fantastic beer garden.

Dungarvan is a great town for going out in, You'll have a wonderful time.

Yep, we had a great time; still recovering!! Had lovely food in Merry's. I wish I was living down there, it's beautiful. Noticed everyone is really genuinely friendly too ;)
