    Some great thunder and lighting in Kilkenny about 15 monutes ago as others have said! One bolt "cracked" what looked to be right above our house! My mother jumped out of the bed with the noise and the the thunder followed almost instantly! It was brilliant! Took a video on my phone to record how loud the thunder was, it was so intense. Haven't remembered thunder and lightning like that since I was a child!

    Torrential rain in Greystones now. Like a river flowing across the velux windows. 3 flashes & 3 claps of thunder so far.

    Becoming more frequent now in Cork, at a rough estimate I would say its hovering over the Watergrasshill to Knockraha area, as its quite distant from me still

    Light rain and flashes with thunder about 20 seconds later, great to finally see some rain. thunder coming closer would be nice!
