    Really kicking off in Cork judging by the netweather detector. Some massive flashes here in Kildare i think i captured it all just going to check.

    I hate to be a pedant / grammar nazi, I really do. But lightning must rank as one of the most frequently miss-spelled words of all time. /grammar nazi

    anyway, waiting up a little while and giving mech1s' ATC feed a listen. Brilliant quality audio and well worth listening to during bad weather.

    Bout time I caught some action. Last strike in Naas was only a few hundred metres away from me. Several alarms went off due to the thunder.

    About 5 or 6 flashes and loud bangs here in Carrigtwohill.
    Got one on video but will have to wait to upload it.
    Its rumbling towards Cork City again.
