Lots of great flashes there for the last 20 mins or so. Our lights and stuff went off for a bit. No thunder though.

Cell going up near Naas again?

Hopping rain here, only one flash and a rumble, can feel it in the air though, it must be close.

Torrents of big drops going on and off like a switch here in D15, quite bizarre. No TN or LT

Light show over east Cork was absolutly spectacular. We have a view looking North over the city and it looked so incredible.

Zilch in Celbridge at the moment, very quiet and still. Lots of heavy rain earlier but completely stopped now! Really hope it livens up :)

Yeah, last year's storm in Cork was incredible. I know there are a couple of videos on You Tube from Ballincollig. My God, I never heard thunder like it here before. As for Dublin, the night is still young, so anything is possible :)

    Oscar_Mike, those pictures are amazing!

Sounds like some areas getting wind shear. Dead calm here beneath heavy rain

Over Lucan heading north, getting more intense.

Surely that one northwest of Kilkenny City is ready to pop too.

Heavy rain and a little bit of wind in D6 now

  • Registered Users Posts: 932 ✭✭✭snowstorm445

The Midleton area in East Cork seems to have had a constant storm overhead for the past hour, and only a few flashes and rumbles in the city! Incredible, its amazing the difference a few kilometres makes.
