Looks like there is some potential in the South West. No sparks yet. Probably some thunder in the vincity of Limerick City in the next couple of hours.

Wow. This is really putting last night's storms to shame. It this was happening over a more populated area the forum would be going nuts at the moment. :pac:

    torrential rain here in D15

just saw this report on RSOE, anyone heard this story???

Parts of the roof at the Mater Hospital and Clery's in Dublin have collapsed due to the torrential rainfall overnight. Dublin Fire Brigade were alerted but nobody was injured and both incidents have since been described as "minor". There was heavy surface water in several areas across the city before the rain cleared this morning.

Really impressive storm in Northern Ireland at the moment, not too often we get storms that intense on this island, shame there's no one from around there on boards

There's a huge cell over Limerick at the moment, it's not producing any lightning but it has grown from a rather small cell that developed over Cork and is heading eastwards, it may be one to watch along with the new cells appearing over the south and south west currently.

Cracker of a line of storms up north.

700 strikes in the past hour alone!

This is the type of thing that the models thought would have fired up in the west yesterday but conditions changed on the day.
