Starting to kick off on east coast up North. Looking good. Hoping for some decent fork lightning but wish it was at night. Can't remember last nightstorm

Ongoing thunder still-mad stuff altogether.
Took 14 mins of video there with pretty much constant thunder and lightning.
Not sure how to upload that file size,but it may wait as the power is gone here with a good while.

Wow, the whole eastern half of the country is red with strikes on the past 2 hours. Haven't noticed anything at work in Dublin CC though

Wexford isn't doing too bad, there's a storm right over Ferns now.

I can see that cell from Maynooth. Distant flashes, approx 10kms away. Going to miss us here, but getting closer all the time. Very active, like you've said.

No thunder or lightning in the last hour here.

Heart of big storm now out to sea off Arklow,still constant crashing from it.
No power here so only a crappy edge phone signal but looks like another cell approaching from the same direction as this 3hr monster.

looks like another one is moving up as you say. my internet only came back a minute ago. i was in the carpark of suervalu a half hour ago and could barely make out the car on front with the rain
hopefully we gets a lot more
