If it doesn't fizzle out it could be a decent shout, why was today bin day, every wheely bin I hear I'm at the window thinking it's thunder.

This was the updraft stage of the cell that produced all the lightning in Naas. The first strike was about 5 mins after this shot.

Yeah thats the problem I was right underneath it! ;) The rain was absolutely torrential and well the thunder and lightning roared for itself!
I would even go far as saying it was louder then the other night with the lightning when the power went!

I'm in the wrong part of Kildare !

Every day i watch the clouds bypass me and head up the Naas direction, they only avoid me by a few miles.

Seriously, today I got the full effect. It was great! But earlier this week or maybe late last week you were talking about strikes and thunder while I was getting none of it. I'm at the Johnstown end of Naas and I think you are at the Kilcullen end. The differences are astounding.

Im in Naas and the differences between me and Pad can be noticeable.

Amazing shot, send it into MTC's crew, they'd love that.
