    Drove through that squall on the N7 just before Naas earlier today, traffic went from 100KM/h to nearly stationary in a matter of seconds. Very bad day to be out driving!

    Yes and looking at the uk rainfall radar the first of these thunderstorms out west look fairly intense we should get a better idea of the intensity on the met eireann radar when the storms get abit closer

    Well if anywhere is gonna see any of these showers later, north meath is nailed on for them, we seem to have got every drop of rain that has fallen since this month began and even now listening to it and looking at the rainfall radar chart, the only shower over the east coast is falling here right now and its Lashing :rolleyes:

    Saw the few flashes but no thunder so it's a good bit away
